The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor

The role of the Independent Implementation Supervisor (IIS) was established to oversee the implementation of the Queensland Government Response to recommendations from the two Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce Hear her voice reports and recommendations from the independent Commission of Inquiry A Call for Change: Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence.

Reports

The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor (OIIS) has released two progress reports prepared by the interim IIS, Linda Apelt, in December 2022 and May 2023 and detail the progress of recommendations due to be completed by 31 March 2023.

The third progress report, prepared by Ms Catherine (Cathy) Taylor, was completed in November 2023 and details the progress of recommendations due to be completed by 30 September 2023, the adequacy of implementation of selected recommendations and broader findings relating to progress achieved across the system.
